Our specialized agents stay on top of state laws, regulations and any changes that can affect all types of emergency services. Our agents are involved in the emergency services world as EMTs, firefighters and members of multiple organizations nationwide that give back to the people that keep us safe.

Brandy Brandenburg

Brandy has been with RT Insurance and in the insurance business since 2006. She has extensive customer service and sales experience and is a Licensed Insurance Agent specializing in fire department, municipality, construction and personal lines insurance.

Brandy is married to Tim Brandenburg and has a son. She enjoys arts & crafts, reading and gardening.

Lona Huffman

Lona has been in Insurance since 2002 and specializes in Contractors, Municipalities, and Emergency Services. She prides herself in not just being an agent to the fire departments and ambulance companies she serves, but part of a family that looks out for each other’s interest.

She is a volunteer EMT at Morgantown Rural VFD and a Technical member of their Large Animal Rescue Team. Lona is the mother of four, enjoys country life, traveling, and is an avid horseback rider.

Brian Russell

Brian started in the insurance business in 2006 after several years in agriculture. He has served as volunteer firefighter and a career firefighter. He held positions at all levels of the fire service including Fire Chief for 15 years. Brian graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelors Degree.

He works from his home office and concentrates on public safety, municipalities and commercial business. Brian is married with an adult daughter and two rescue mutts.

Josh Watts

Josh has chosen to enter into a new field of service within the insurance industry. He is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University where he studied Psychology earning both a bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

Living in a small town with his wife of 20 years, he recently retired from the volunteer fire service after 26 years and retired as Fire Chief. He also works as a local Pastor and Emergency Chaplain where he still serves first responders. During the Christmas Season, he also serves as Santa for the local fire departments.
